Triumph Ministries

Our church wouldn't function without the following ministries.  These are designed to encourage spiritual growth, as well as require our members to be active within the ministry.  As the church grows, increasingly there will be needs for additional faithful leaders that can run the additional ministries we haven't thought about yet.

If you'd like to serve within a ministry, please see Pastor to discuss your involvement.  Sometimes it will be a simple yes, other times explanation may be required so that Church policy may be followed.  Other times initial training may occur under the leadership of a current ministry.  Each circumstance will be different and is why Pastor should be contacted.

  • Brent - Music Director, leads Worship Services, choir and special music.
  • Lisa - Pianist for the Worship Services, Special Music.
  • Valerie - Pianist for Choir, Special Music.
    
    
• Adult Sunday School
  
  • Steve - Teacher of the "Elder" adult class.
  • Chris - Teacher of the "Genesis" adult class, covering Genesis starting at Chaper 1.
  • Kevin - Teacher of the Teen class.
  • Liz - Teacher of the kids through 6th grade class.
    
    
• Kids4Truth
  
  • Mrs. Young - Pre teen teaching and activities Sunday nights.
    
    
• Teens
  
  • Kevin and Stephanie - Preaching time Sunday evenings and special gatherings throughout the month.
  • Jason - Assistant to Kevin and Stephanie.
    
    
• Ushers - Greeters
  
  • John - Head Usher, offertory counter.
  • Matt - Usher, offertory counter with John (they keep each other accountable).
  • Mr. Young - Usher and Greeter.
  • Kelly - Greeter.
    
    
• Finance
  
  • Valerie - Check writing, financial book keeping.
  • John - Treasurer, end of the year tax statements.
    
    
• Sound, Recordings, MP3s (and the occasional CD)
  
  • Dan - Coordinator, Worship Service Recordings, MP3 publishing on the web, CD creation.
  • Jason - Really does this more than Dan, Worship Service recordings, MP3 publishing on the web.
  • Rod - Worship Service Recordings, MP3 publishing on the web.
    
    
• Nursery
  
  • Rod and Patricia - Coordinator, clean toys before the services, ensure a clean and sanitary play area for your children.
  • Liz - Assistant Coordinator, helps recruit additional nursery help.
    
    
• Web, Photos, Print and Electronic Media
  
  • Dan - Coordinator, web site creator, DVD creation, video archiving, photographer and video.
  • Starr - Content editor, reviewer, critique of published media, photographer, media release form.
    
    
• Trustees
  
  • Brent, Dan, John, Matt - Position voted on by the Church, are responsible for the financial well being of the Church.  These men are listed on record in the State of Virginia.
